This Theomat T1000 is the simplest of the digital theodolites. It allows reading both horizontal and vertical angles or a choice of horizontal angle and horizontal distance etc on the two LCD displays. The T2000 has three displays to allow reading all values at once. The number of settings on the T1000 is limited to those on the (much larger T2000). Measurement accuracy is also not as good.
This T1000 came with a DI1000 (see separate entry) effectively making this a digital tachymeter when the DI1000 is mounted. The instrument can however also be used without it as a simple digital theodolite.
